BMW HPDE/Endurance Race Car

I felt it was time to get a dedicated BMW track car for HPDE
and endurance races. This should be a blast to run in 2007. This car started
its racing career on the East coast when it was running out of Georgia, it
moved to the west coast in the early 2000's where it set the ITB track
record for Portland International Raceway in late 2005.
  
Motor:
M10 engine - Polished and Balanced 2.0 Liter with Mahle pistons,
Custom cam, and Debirred lifters.
2 QT Accusump w/ stainless lines/AN fittings.
Duel Bosch fuel pumps.
Seatrab 24 row oil cooler.
Stahl race exhaust header.
Delta Force muffler with side exit.
Redline fluids.

Suspension:
Carrera custom coilovers suspension
Adjustable camber plates
Adjustable anti-sway bars.
New tie rods and steering rack.
Synthetic bushings.
Front splitter |
Wheels and Brakes:
Vented Brembo front rotors and calipers (larger 1977 version).
New Porterfield R4 pads/shoes.
New rear drums and rebuild kit.
New master cylinder and proportioning block.
Stainless brake lines.
New 2 ½” aircraft grade front brake ducting.
Wheel stud conversion.
Front splitter. (2) sets of straight, lightweight Panasport
alloy wheels w/ Toyo RA1’s and Goodyear GSCS’s.
Motul fluid.

Sach’s clutch kit (pressure plate, clutch disk, throw out
bearing and pilot bearing)
Rebuilt transmission.
Short shift kit linkage.
Limited Slip Differential with 4.10 gear. |

Race/class options could include SCCA ITB or
Vintage, ICSCC ITB or G/H Production (w/ minor tweaks) and
BMWCCA club racing (Norcal). |
